Color Tools

Contact

Found a bug, missing a format, or have an idea for a new tool? Here is how to reach the maker — and what to include so problems get fixed quickly.

Get in touch

Feedback, bug reports and feature ideas are all welcome — they genuinely decide what gets built and fixed next. The best way to reach us is email: contact@color-tools.org.

Reporting a bug

Color and rendering problems can be very browser-specific, so a little context makes fixes much faster. Helpful details include:

  • your browser and version (for example “Firefox 141”) and your operating system;
  • which tool page you were on;
  • the exact color value you entered, or a short description of what you saw versus what you expected.

One caution: email is not an encrypted channel, so please do not attach anything sensitive or private. The tools themselves never see your images or colors — keep it that way in email too; a written description of the problem is almost always enough.

Response time

Color Tools is a small operation — realistically, often a single person building and maintaining everything. Every message is read, but replies can take a few days rather than a few hours. Reports about a tool being broken are prioritized; feature ideas are collected and weighed for the roadmap, and while not every idea can be built, several pages on this site exist because somebody asked for them.
